In 2019, MUSE Arts hosted a transformative Community Arts Residency, bringing together local and international artists to explore creative practices rooted in community engagement. This unique residency provided artists with the space, time, and support to collaborate, experiment, and create art that reflected diverse identities and shared experiences. Throughout the residency, participants engaged with the local community through interactive workshops, public installations, and performances, fostering meaningful dialogue and creative exchange. This collaborative process was shaped by the input and stories of the people we connected with, leading to powerful expressions of resilience and unity. Through this initiative, MUSE Arts continues its commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices and providing artists with platforms to make an impact within their communities.
