Theme: Dreams
Hosted in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region, the 2025 Community Arts Residency invited artists from Mexico, the Philippines, Canada, Cuba, and Colombia to come together in an immersive cultural and artistic exchange grounded in the theme of dreams.
Rooted in the landscapes and rhythms of Quimbaya, Quindío, the residency fostered collective imagination and co-creation, encouraging artists to explore the personal, political, and ancestral dimensions of dreams—what they reveal, what they heal, and what they can help us envision.
Over the course of twelve days, participants engaged in workshops, site-specific explorations, community dialogues, and collaborative art-making processes. The residency was also an opportunity to connect with local residents, learn from regional wisdom, and contribute to an ongoing cultural exchange that celebrates the power of art to build bridges and spark transformation.
The 2025 edition is our commitment to international solidarity, artistic experimentation, and nurturing spaces where diverse voices and experiences can come together to dream a better world into being.
